 Raw data continually streams into MINEMAN Production from various sources such as plant control and laboratory systems. This data is cleaned and automatically aggregated up to longer timeframes such as shift, day, week, month and year. Data can also be recorded manually.
MINEMAN Production engine also continually aggregates the key performance indicators into higher levels of summary information, such as daily, weekly and monthly production, month-to-dates and year-to-dates. The engine ensures that weighted averages are maintained for all necessary variables such as metal grades and qualities, flowrates, utilisation and availability, not just in the timeframes they were measured but in higher timeframes such as days, weeks, months and years.
The data aggregation is also maintained for multiple process lines and timeframes; for example if the smelter has two lines in operation the actuals and plans will be maintained per line per shift, per line per day, both lines per shift and both lines per day.
The MINEMAN Production engine automatically de-aggregates budget and forecast data to ensure their equivalents are available for comparative analysis against data measured at shorter timeframes. This allows the user to extract actuals against plan for any key performance indicator. For example, if forecast production is entered on a monthly basis MINEMAN Production will ensure that the equivalent forecast is available for every day, for comparison against daily actuals. It will even maintain week-to-date and year-to-date budget and forecast figures.
The smelter staff can compare any two variables over any timeframe for rapid decision-making and insights into process performance.
